Hartford, Conn., July 29 - Trinity women’s lacrosse senior Laura Davis (Bethesda, Md.) and junior Alice Robinson (Springfield, Mass.) were each selected to the 2003 Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division III Academic Honor Roll. |

The Trinity women, coached by Kara Tierney (4th season), posted an 9-7 overall record and a 4-5 mark in the league, which qualified them for a second straight NESCAC Championship Tournament appearance. The Bantams lost at Williams, 10-4, in the first round.
Davis, started all 16 games at attack and finished with 15 goals and eight assists for 23 points. A NESCAC All-Academic selection in 2002, Davis finished her fine career with 44 goals and 15 assists for 59 points. She graduated from Trinity this spring with a 3.3 g.p.a. in political science.
Robinson, a three-year starter on defense, also started all 16 games for Trinity this spring. She picked up 24 ground balls and forced 22 turnovers. Robinson maintains a 3.3 g.p.a. as a political science major at Trinity.
