All-New England
Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men’s Tennis Team.

The duo, which made the squad as a doubles tandem, won two out of three matches in the NESCAC Championships in late April at Middlebury to finish as the league’s No. 1 doubles flight runners-up. The Bantams finished the 2002-03 dual match regular season with a 9-4 record and are ranked No. 7 in the NCAA Division III Northeast region.
Lawrence, a two-time All-NESCAC selection in singles, finished the season with a 7-4 singles record at the No. 1 position, while Hart was a team-best 11-3 in singles at the No. 2 spot. The two posted a 9-5 record this spring as Trinity’s top doubles tandem, and are ranked as the No. 8 doubles team in the Northeast region.
Lawrence, who owns a 45-12 career singles record, was an All-New England and All-American selection, as well as the NESCAC, New England, and National Rookie of the Year as a freshman. He qualified for the NCAA Division III National Singles and Doubles Championships in 2000-01 and the NCAA Singles Championships last spring.
