Munsill Earns Academic Honors  for Trinity Golf Team

Hartford, Conn., July 8 - Trinity golf junior Peter Munsill (Peace Dale, R.I.) was selected as a 2002-03 Cleveland Golf All-American Scholar by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

The Trinity golf squad, coached by Bill Detrick (12th season) finished sixth in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Championships and 24th (11th among Division III teams) in the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championship Tournament.

Munsill was a regular among Trinity’s top five golfers, recording a career-best score of 156 over two rounds in the NEIGA Championships in Cape Cod, Mass. He finished seventh overall in the Worcester Tech Invitational Tournament and 14th overall in the NESCAC Championships this season. Munsill is a graduate of the Hill School in Pennsylvania.
