Honorary Degree at Trinity College
Dr.
Kenji Tanaka, the founder of Japan’s Technos College, was awarded an
honorary degree in a specially designated ceremony in the Trinity
College Chapel on May 5. Tanaka has been a pioneer in the field of
global education and a leader throughout his career. In 1959, his

Nagoya, Japan. The Foundation promotes collaborations between Japan
and other nations through cultural exchange programs. The holder of
three degrees from Keio University in Tokyo, Dr. Tanaka has received
numerous honorary degrees from institutions of higher education
around the world. In 1991, the government of France awarded him
La Médaille de la Jeunesse et des Sports and in 1993, President
