Students Awards & Honors
Sarah Arnold 06
has been awarded a 2005 Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship. Goldwater
scholars are selected on the basis of academic merit from a nationwide
field of mathematics, science, and engineering students who are
nominated by the faculties of colleges and universities.
Robert Bialobrzeski 05 has been awarded an H.E. Russell
Fellowship. The award provides financial support for two years to a
senior who plans to undertake full-time, non-professional graduate
study. This fellowship is awarded by the faculty of Trinity College.
John Corning 05 has been awarded a W.H. Russell Fellowship.
The award provides financial support for two years to a senior who
plans to undertake full-time study in either an academic or a
professional graduate school. This fellowship is awarded by the
faculty of Trinity College.
Jason Gallant 05 has been awarded a Thomas J. Watson
Fellowship for a year of independent exploration and travel outside
the United States. The year of travel is intended to provide fellows
with an opportunity to test their aspirations and abilities and
develop a more informed sense of international concern.
Doris M.S. Luk 05 has been awarded a W.H. Russell Fellowship.
The award provides financial support for two years to a senior who
plans to undertake full-time study in either an academic or a
professional graduate school. This fellowship is awarded by the
faculty of Trinity College.
Bozidar Markinkovic 05 has been awarded a Mary A. Terry
Fellowship. This award provides financial support for two years to a
senior who plans to engage in full-time graduate study in the arts and
or sciences. This fellowship is awarded by the president of Trinity
College upon the recommendation of the faculty.
Joseph Wzorek, Jr. 06 received Honorable Mention from the
Goldwater Scholarship Program. The program is designed to foster and
encourage outstanding students to pursue careers in the fields of
mathematics, the natural sciences, and engineering.
