Trustee Wenda Harris
Millard ’76, chief sales officer of Yahoo!, has been named the
2006 Advertising Person of the Year by the American Advertising
Federation. Previously named as one of the “i20,” an honor given to
the 20 most influential executives in interactive media, she was
also inducted into the Digital Hall of Fame by Media Industry
Newsletter.
Clare Rossini,
director of the InterArts Program and the Trinity Center for
Collaborative Teaching & Research, will have her poem, “Postmortem,”
from her newly published collection, Lingo, featured by
Poetry Daily on Friday, February 24. An online anthology of
contemporary poetry published by The Daily Poetry Association,

Robert Edward
Smith, composer-in-residence, had his work, Variations on an
American Folk Song, performed by the Nashua (NH) Chamber
Orchestra. Described by World Premier as “a stunning, melodic
journey through many different moods, which ends with a brilliant
fugue and returns home with a triumphant statement of the opening
theme,” the piece premiered at Daniel Webster College in October,
2005, under the direction of David Feltner.
