Making Safe Places
Featuring Dr. Peter Alsop ’68, an educational psychologist, national lecturer, humorist and motivational speaker will examine how to create emotionally safe places for our children, our families and ourselves so we can achieve our very best. Using humorous anecdotes, hilarious sing-along songs and the technique of “sculpting with people,” adults will see why awareness of our feelings is the key to overcoming emotional roadblocks.

Join Alden R. Gordon ’69, Gwendolyn Miles Smith Professor of Art History and Chair of the Fine Arts Department, in a conversation with Michael Conforti ’68, Director of the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute, Terry Lignelli ’83,
Conservator of Paintings, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Lance Mayer ’73, Conservator, the Lyman Allyn Art Museum, on current issues confronting museums regarding exhibitions, conservation, acquisitions and the preparation of students to undertake museum professions.
