Marlo Martin-Jackson ‘93
North Olmsted, OH
Co-Vice President for Programs

Marlo Martin was born and raised in Hartford, CT.  Her Grandmother influences her life greatly.  At an early age her Grandmother instilled in her that through GOD anything is possible.

Marlo graduated from Trinity College in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History.  While at Trinity, Marlo was involved in the Resident Assistant Program and PAA.  But her greatest joy was volunteering at WRTC, Trinity’s Radio Station where she served as Urban Music Director and Assistant Station Manager.

Using her WRTC experience, in September 1993 she moved to New York and began her career in the recording industry holding promotions and marketing positions at such labels as Mercury, Arista, Relativity & Gee Street Records.  She was named the GAVIN Rap Promotions Person of the Year in 1996 & GAVIN Rap Woman Of The Year in 1999.  Marlo decided to form her own company, Double M Entertainment.

Recently married, Marlo now resides in North Olmsted, Ohio, right outside of Cleveland, with her husband George, who is an on air-personality with Radio-One Station WENZ, (Z1079).  They worship at Church On The Coast in Lorain, Ohio.
