Charles Botts '01
Hartford, CT
Co-Vice President of Student Support

While at Trinity Charles K. Botts III was active in all facets of student life. Charles was the President of Imani for nearly two years, he was a class representative on the S.G.A. for three years, he was a member of T.C.A.C. for three years, he was an R.A., a P.R.I.D.E. mentor, and a member of the football team for four years. Charles also served on both the Trustee Student Life Committee and the Faculty Curriculum Committee. Theses are a few of the organizations that Charles engaged in while at Trinity.

At Trinity, Charles’ had a myriad of interest and his course selection reflected his diverse interest, however halfway through his college career he settled on a major in International Studies, with a concentration in Latin America and the Caribbean. Two days before he graduated Charles married his soul mate Jacquelyn Botts ’00.

Immediately after graduating Charles went to work for United Technologies Corporation’s Corporate Head Quarters located in downtown Hartford. He worked in the Transportation and Logistics department. Unfortunately a failing economy and budget cutbacks forced Charles out of UTC, but through the grace of God, Charles landed on his feet. He ended back on campus at Trinity College and is presently employed by Trinity’s Development and Alumni Relations Offices. Charles is also an Assistant Coach on the Football Team.
