Reunion Weekend 2003
June 5-8th

Children's Program

Your entire family is strongly encouraged to attend Reunion Weekend. While you participate in various weekend activities, your children (ages 6 weeks through 13 years) can enjoy Bantam Camp, a program to entertain children during the Weekend. Children not enrolled in the Bantam Camp are welcome to attend all scheduled children's events if escorted by a parent or another adult. Meals for children under the age of 10 not participating in the Bantam Camp can be purchased for $8 per meal (except for the New England Clambake and class dinners). You may bring your own babysitter, but you are responsible for that individual. Meals may be purchased for the babysitter at the same rate as for children. Free housing will be provided for babysitters who bring their own linens.

Bantam Camp Program is divided into
two groups based on age.

Children 5 years old and under will be cared for at the Trinity College Community Child Center (TC4).

Children ages 6 to 13 years old will be supervised by current students hired for the Weekend.

Bantam Camp
Birth-to-Five Program

Friday: 6 pm-Midnight and Saturday: 10 am-Midnight
We're pleased to offer Trinity College Community Child Center’s popular birth-to-five program for your children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. TC4 is a nationally accredited, state licensed, childcare facility offering programs for children 6 weeks of age through school age. Teachers have college degrees in education and are certified in CPR and first aid. The professional, trained staff will organize games and other activities and will also provide quiet time, when needed, for the younger children in the group. The Center is conveniently located on the Trinity campus.  Birth-to-five program participants may eat all meals with the staff.  Any dietary restrictions should be noted on the registration form.

Bantam Camp
6 to 13 year olds Program

Friday: 6-9 pm and Saturday: 10 am-9 pm
The children's program will provide entertainment and supervision for 6 to 13-year-olds attending Reunion Weekend. The program begins on Friday evening with a pizza party and a movie.
Saturday's schedule includes puppet, magic, and juggling shows; tennis instruction, taekwondo, basketball, arts andcrafts, and swimming; and concludes with an ice cream sundae party and a movie on campus. Children’s program participants eat Friday breakfast and lunch and Saturday breakfast with their parents. Student workers accompany the children to Friday dinner, Saturday lunch and dinner, and evening activities and movies both nights. Any dietary restrictions should be noted on the registration form. Parents are asked to meet their children at the conclusion of the movie each night and return them to the dorms for the evening.  Limited supervision will be provided by students on floors where children are staying until the close of the evening’s entertainment, at which time parents are expected to return to their rooms.
