The House of Peace
115 Allen Place

Queer Resource Center
114 Crescent Street
The Trinity College Queer Resource Center is a center for LGBTQIA student services and campus initiatives. It was created to provide a safe space for all gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex, and ally students, staff and faculty. Our mission is to work toward greater LGBT diversity and acceptance on Trinity’s campus through educational programming, providing opportunities for exposure and insight into LGBT life and culture, and by providing student organizing assistance on LGBT issues. We hope to create a strong and cohesive identity of LGBT as part of the greater Trinity Community and ensure that all members of our campus feel like a welcome and essential part of the Trinity experience.

The International House
104-106 Vernon Street

The iHouse wishes to provide the platform where international students and American students can come together, have fun and share cultures. The iHouse is committed to becoming the cultural melting pot that shall enrich the Trinity experience for an already diverse student body! The organization will be holding various events this coming year which include film screenings, language tables, exploring various cuisines and dance parties featuring European techno and other music.

The Treehouse
125 Allen Place

The Treehouse is a coalition of student organizations committed to preserving and enjoying our natural environment. This currently includes Green Campus, the Outing Club, the Sailing Club, and the Biology Club. It is available for use by anyone who is interested in joining our experiments to discover how to make sustainable living work on a college campus. Our solar panels even generate energy for all of us to use! We hope to be hosting events such as local and/ or organic dinners, film screenings, guest speakers, workshops (for example, how to compost or make your own paper), Earthopoly tournaments, themed parties, and an art contest.

The Mill
79 Vernon Street

The Mill is a new cultural house on campus dedicated to serving the Trinity community through the arts. We offer a space for artists to collaborate, socialize and promote their talents around campus. Creative minded students can also use our drawing studio, silk-screening press, practice rooms, and recording studios to hone their talents and work together with other members of the Trinity community. In our first year on campus, we hope to widen the social options on campus by hosting concerts, art exhibitions, and lectures in our music venue and gallery space.

Un/Common Signs  presents the work of American artists Charlotte Cain, Julie Evans and Kathryn Myers, all of whom spend a great deal of time in India, each having conducted research there on a Fulbright Scholarship. Their diverse painting languages share common influences and themes that are grounded in Indian Art, culture, and the rituals of daily life. Through silence, excess, recognition or time, their works evoke a sense of reverent observance and invite us to participate, as they offer windows into painting processes that are themselves kinds of private, devotional practices.
