Favorite Class Taken at Trinity: Argument and Research Writing

Why I chose Trinity: I knew I wanted a strong liberal arts education, but that I also wanted to major in a science.  Trinity has a very strong science program for a small liberal arts college.  I am part of ISP, the Interdisciplinary Science Program, which is one of Trinity’s four gateway programs.  ISP allowed me to work one on one with a professor to do neuroscience research in my first year at Trinity.  It was an experience that none of my other prospective schools could offer.  Trinity is the perfect balance between a small campus community and a city school with opportunities to contribute to the larger community.

Extracurricular Activities: TCAC (Trinity College Activities Council), Resident Assistant, ACES (Annual Community Events Staff), Hillel, volunteer at Avery Heights, a local nursing home

Professional Goals/ Career Plans: I know I want to attend graduate school for neuroscience.  As far as a career, I’m not quite sure yet.  I imagine either neuroscience research or something in the public health field.
