Favorite Class Taken at Trinity: Medieval Women Writers with Sheila Fisher was one of the best classes I’ve taken because of how charismatic and dynamic Professor Fisher is. I was reluctant to take a course that had a subject matter which seemed so specific and limiting, but I learned a great deal more from that class than I would have ever expected, and now I can talk about courtly love on demand or discuss sexuality in the Heian court.
Why I chose Trinity: Like many others, I wanted a small, liberal arts college on the East Coast and what I found at Trinity was a place that seemed to be just as invested in academics as it was to making sure that the students were also socially satisfied. I came on V.I.P. Days and saw the typical Trinity scene of students playing Frisbee on the main quad...reading and talking, and I got the most positive feeling from the school. It was a much warmer environment that I found at a lot of the other places that I visited.
Extracurricular Activities: Features Columnist for Tripod; Musical Theater Productions; Founder of the QUIRKS a capella group; Member of Kappa Kappa Gamma; Participant in Tutorial College; V.A.M.P mentor; Former member of the Crew team
Professional Goals/ Career Plans: Ideally, I would love to become an editor of a fashion magazine and I am also interested in film production.
