Why I chose Trinity: I was attracted to Trinity for many reasons - its strong academic reputation, its talented and caring professors and its broad range of internships and research opportunities.

Extracurricular Activities:  Member of Students to Unite Science and Humanitarian Interests, which works to advocate and educate students on human rights issues; Member of the Trinity College Honor Council; Co-founder of the Dr. Seuss Reading Group for an after school program at the Montessori School;       Member of the Society of Physics Students

Professional Goals/ Career Plans:  I am interested in exploring the ethical and social consequences of how we use scientific knowledge. In the future I would like to not only actively contribute to the advancement of such knowledge, but to also help make sure that its benefits are distributed equitably. For these reasons I plan to either do research or humanitarian work after graduation. Eventually I plan to attend medical school and become a physician.
