This red brick, three-story Victorian building exemplifies both Trinity's rich history and commitment to the rigorous study of the humanities. For generations, the building served as home for the College President; now it is home to Trinity's English department. Dedicated to exploring the power of words - and how they work in poetry, plays, essays, novels, and film -- the faculty members in the English department strive to enhance the development of thoughtful, creative, and self-reliant individuals who are prepared to take any path they choose. This graceful building also houses the Writing Center, which offers a comprehensive writing program, including a variety of courses, support services, and special programs.
