Debra Borrero reports on Trinity’s United Way Campaign

“The Trinity College United Way Community Campaign kicked off on October 1. As of October 28, nine percent of the Trinity community has participated, raising $13,283, which is 65 percent of our goal. Thank you to all those who have contributed. If the remainder of the campus donated at least $15 each we could reach our target of $23,148.

The office of community and institutional relations is handling this year’s campaign, which will run until December 1. If you have any questions about giving, please do not hesitate to contact Jennifer Destefani at ext. 2107.”

Did you know?

The flags hanging in The Bistro accurately represent the countries from which Trinity’s students hail. Every year, as part of a tradition she started in 1996, Patty Connolly, director of the calendar office, updates the flags with the help of the office of buildings and grounds to accurately reflect the international origins of the student body.

Next time you stop into The Bistro, look up!
