Ethical Dilemmas for Humanitarian Operations in Conflict Zones:

Renowned Humanitarians Open Human Rights Lecture Series at Trinity College

What:  

Charles MacCormack, president, chief executive officer, and member of the board of directors of Save the Children Federation, Inc., and Larry Minear, director of the Humanitarianism and War Project at the Feinstein International Famine Center in the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, will present "Ethical Dilemmas for Humanitarian Operations in Conflict Zones."

Background:  

Dr. MacCormack currently serves as co-chair of the Campaign for Effective Leadership and the Basic Education Coalition and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Advisory Committee on Voluntary Foreign Aid, the Executive Committee of InterAction, and the Food Security Advisory Committee.

Minear has worked on humanitarian and development issues since 1972, and has written extensively and conducted research on numerous humanitarian emergencies. He is also a staff member of the United Nations.
