New Legislation on Eating Disorders?

Tracey Gold Discusses Latest Developments At Trinity College Lecture Series

What:  

Former television star Tracey Gold will discuss the latest developments on eating disorders during the first of the 2003 Women’s Center Lecture Series at Trinity College.

     
When:  

Wednesday, October 15, 7:00 p.m.

     
Where:  

Washington Room, Mather Hall, on the Trinity College campus

     
Background:  

Tracey Gold is best known for her role as Carol Seaver in the 1980’s sitcom, “Growing Pains,” and almost equally known for her battles with anorexia. Gold will discuss her recent book Room to Grow: An Appetite for Life.  A call for activism, the book includes segments of a proposed federal law, which, if passed, would promote a greater consciousness of eating disorders and how to treat them.
