Background: |
|
Since 1969,
Yandle has been a faculty member at Clemson University’s College
of Business and Behavioral Science. Yandle is a senior fellow
with the Property and Environment Research Center in Bozeman,
Montana, and a faculty member at George Mason University's Capitol
Hill Campus. He served in Washington as a senior economist on the
President's Council on Wage and Price Stability during the Ford
and Carter administrations and as executive director of the
Federal Trade Commission during the Reagan administration. He is
also an author/editor of a dozen books on regulation. Prior to
pursuing a career in university teaching, Yandle was in the
industrial machinery business for 15 years. He received his MBA
and Ph.D. degrees from Georgia State University.
