Welcome! The first ever Park River Watershed Symposium (PRWS) will be held at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, on Tuesday October 9, 2007- 8am to 5pm.  This symposium aims to gather people from academia, government, business, and the community who are interested in the past, present, and future of the Park River and its tributaries which collectively define the Park River Watershed.

In addition to three panel discussions and invited speakers, there will be space available for poster and table presentations.  If you are conducting a project that is related to the watershed or are affiliated with an organization that would benefit from this audience, we strongly encourage you to present your work.   Abstracts of the presentations will be published in a volume that will be distributed at the symposium.  To submit and abstract please follow the link on the left sidebar.

Throughout the summer, more information will be added to the site to aid participants, presenters, and panelists leading up to the symposium.
