Campus Master Plan--Austin Arts Center |
|

More than half the Trinity student body enrolls in arts courses each semester; both the faculty and the programs are highly regarded. And a vibrant arts program attracts some of the best and most interesting students.
Long the most important place for the performing arts at
Trinity, the Austin Arts Center must now grow to meet very different circumstances.
Constructed in the 1960s for a mens college that had 900 students and no majors in
the arts, the Center, when renovated and expanded,
will become a fitting showcase
for the talents of students and faculty and will offer exceptional and commodious
facilities for students hands-on practice of the arts. Trinitys many acclaimed
musical-theater programs, choral and instrumental performances, and theatrical and dance
productions will finally have a "home" befitting
their excellence.
