Preliminary site work and utilities relocation and upgrading began in the summer of 1999, followed by the commencement of building construction and renovation in May 2001 and completion in the late spring of 2003. Dedication ceremonies were held October 17, 2003, and the library was formally named the Raether Library and Information Technology Center. These images are a representative sampling of the exterior and interior areas of the new addition, including the multi-level Scheuch Atrium, the Dagres Technology Center, the Funston Café, and the DiBenedetto Reading Room. |
