Campus Master Plan--Completed Projects:
Cultural Centers--Zachs Hillel House

Trinity College

Thanks to a generous donation from a Trinity alumnus, our Zachs Hillel House has taken its place as a major cultural center on campus.  Designed by architects Leers Weinzapfel Associates of Boston, this new building is an essential element in Trinity's commitment to supporting and strengthening its increasingly diverse campus community.  The third such center to be completed as part of the Master Plan, the new Hillel offers space for public meetings, guest lectures, informal gatherings, kosher meals, and worship.  The availability of these new amenities is a key component in enriching and diversifying the College's intellectual and cultural life, fostering the growth of the Jewish community on campus, and enabling students to deepen their spiritual growth through programming designed to benefit the entire campus community.  Construction of the Zachs Hillel House began in the fall of 2000 and was completed with the building's dedication in December 2001.

The photographs on this page show the completed project.  Images of its conceptual phase also can be seen.
