Objectives of the Safe Zone Program

What are the objectives of the Safe Zone Program?

• To identify and mobilize a group of people empathetic and informed about GLBT issues who are willing to provide support, information, and a safe haven.

• To provide evidence of the support of GLBT persons within the Trinity community by providing a sign (sticker) as tangible evidence of this support.

• To reduce the fear of reprisal and discrimination of GLBT persons within the Trinity community.
