9/9 W- Discuss Euraque's essay, "Multidisciplinarity & Cross Cultural Study in the Liberal Arts College of the 21st Century: Reflections on a New Model." Introduction to the Lab and instruction by Dr. Susan Gilroy on the use of the YAPP, "on-line" Conference in the Library. Meet at the Reference Desk of the Library.

Read in "on-line" Reserve, Chp. 4, "The Monstrous Races of America" in P. Mason's Deconstructing America (1990) & Chp. 21 "The Problem of Recognition." In A. Pagden, The Fall of Natural Man (1986).
