Member Information

TCERT is staffed by Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) certified in the State of Connecticut. The remaining staff is either CPR/First Aid certified or in the process of becoming EMT certified.  TCERT is on-call during the school year with at least 2 EMTs  responding to all medical emergencies. Officers.    These are our few who give their time to keep everything running.  They meet weekly with the Director of the Health Center to review charts, resolve any problems, and continue the growth of the organization.  Contact any one of them if you have questions.

Members. This is a list of our membership, with certification level and operational status.

Alumni. Those who have served before us, providing the foundation for the growth of the organization.

Schedule. Weekdays are divided into three shifts, 0900-1300, 1300-1700 and 1700-2100.  Nights, Weekend days, and the 1700-2100 shift on Fridays are rotated among members. Each shift is covered by a Crew Chief and a Responder, both holding a Connecticut EMT certification. Questions about the schedule should be directed to the Assistant Director.

SOPs.  These are our Standard Operating Procedures.  All members should familiarize themselves with the SOP Manual, as members will be held accountable for its contents.

Constitution.  The constitution outlines the purpose of TCERT as an organization, its governing structure, and all aspects not contained within the SOP Manual.  All members should familiarize themselves with this document.
