First Aid / CPR

Courses are offered at the American Red Cross in Farmington. Check the website for a list of current classes. In addition, TCERT offers a refresher course for CPR for the Professional Rescuer on campus every Spring. 

EMT Certification Training

Hartford Hospital offers two EMT courses during the school year, one during the Fall semester and one during the Spring semester.  The course consists of 120 hours of instruction and 12 hours of observation. They also offer two, 24-hour refresher courses each semester.

Connecticut Medical Training Academy orchestrates the pre-semester orientation training programs for TCERT.  They also offer training programs in many different EMS-related fields.
