Plot: An innocent man is murdered during a police round-up while his mother watches. Refusing to accept the official version of the story, she launches a campaign for justice. A journalist begins to investigate the story at the risk of his own life.

Plot: Based on a novel by Portuguese author, Eca de Queiroz. The truest crime of the film is the web of cover-ups and lies that the church creates in order to propagate its cause. Julio comienza en julio (Julio Begins in July) (Chile, 1977) Directed by Silvio Caiozzi. Black and white. Social portrait / Coming-of-age film. 120 mins.

 

Plot: This is the story of a teenager at the turn of the century in the conservative higher classes of Chile and the initiation rites in his society. Director Silvio Caiozzi makes an excellent job recreating the rural Chile at the turn of the century. Plot: The Dolphin is a tale of power, fantasy and sensuous desire set on the beautiful beaches of Brazil. It's an enchanting story surrounding the seductive legend of a dolphin-man called Boto. On moonlit nights women become helpless victims to their desire for him. Plot: Set during a violent civil war in Columbia which occurred after the assassination of liberal leader Jorge Elieser Gaitain in 1948. Three people are trapped in Laura’s house during a riot, setting the scene for an unforgettable night.

Plot: A pair of randy upper-class buddies sparked some controversy for its frank depiction of drug use and sexual exploration. Julio and his friend Tenoch are looking forward to a summer full of drink, drugs, and cheap meaningless sex. They meet Luisa and convince her to go on a road trip. Soon simmering jealousies boil over into savage arguments, threatening to completely destroy their friendship.
