This initiative (a co-curricular intitative sponsored by Trinity College in Hartford, CT) seeks to explore fundamental and moral questions associated with scientific inquiry. It will examine the position located between the pole of freedom (academic and otherwise) and the pole of responsibility as it relates to the manner in which research is conducted and the manner in which the outcomes of such research are used by the larger society.

The purpose of this website is to provide a resource center for those interested in the SFR co-curricular initiative to take the next step in exploring scientific freedom and responsibility through first-hand documentation, resources, and other media available on the World Wide Web.
