Scientific Freedom and Responsibility Co-Curricular
Initiative 2001-2002:
This initiative seeks to explore fundamental
moral questions associated with scientific enquiry. It will examine
the position of the researcher located between the pole of freedom
(academic and otherwise) and the pole of responsibility as it relates
to the manner in which research is conducted and the manner in which
the outcomes of such research are used by the larger society.
