   Isbrandtsen Represents USA Rugby

Nick Isbrandtsen, a sophomore defensemen, also plays in the U.S National Rugby League. Nick always wanted to play rugby and played in the summer all up and down the coast from Jacksonville to Boston. He plays for the Connecticut Wildcats who are based out of Norwalk.  He is in the open class for the team and is the youngest player at age 20.  Nick was selected to be on the national rugby team where he joins many ex-professional players from Europe and Australia. Recently, his team played Cumbria as a warm up match in Barrow, England then they played against Samoa in Widnes, England and unfortunately lost.  Nick will continue to play Australia this summer and fall.
