 Trinity Welcomes New Assistant Coach

    Trinity College would like to announce the hiring of Graduate Assistant Lacrosse Coach Mike Kruger.  He was a four year starting goalie for Fairfield University comes to Trinity with a wealth of Division I lacrosse playing experience.  Coach Kruger graduated from Fairfield University  in May 2007 with a degree in communications.

As a starting goaltender, Coach Kruger helped lead Fairfield to the 2005 Great Western Lacrosse League Championship and their 2nd NCAA Tournament birth. The team finished the

season ranked number 15 in the country. Coach Kruger was the 2005 Defensive MVP for Fairfield University . Coach Kruger currently ranks 3rd on the ALL-Time saves list at Fairfield,  compiling 536 saves over his four year career.

A native of Ellicott City, MD, Coach Kruger played his high school lacrosse at Calvert Hall in Baltimore. He was a member of the 2003 MIAA "A" Conference Championship team that finished ranked 4th in the country.

Coach Kruger is currently pursuing his Master's degree in American Studies at Trinity College.  He also teaches Physical Education classes and performs responsibilities in contest management for the Men's Soccer team.
