AASA General Body Meeting

Discussion. Campus safety. Do you feel safe on campus? If not, when did you start feeling unsafe? Are the Hartford Police helping us to feel more safe or not?

*Umoja house Tuesday 8pm discussion on increased security on campus in response to recent crime.
NO MEETING next Sunday November 17.
Nov 15 Henna House Event
Nov 17 Diwali @ UCONN. Transportation, show, dinner, and drinks included. Among others, Shikha will be performing!!
Nov 22 Indian Dinner. Cookin’ and eatin’ together.


Event planning brainstorm: (note, some ideas rather silly)
PS2 Tournamentmultiplayer games, Safety programself defense. Campus safety supposedly puts these on for free. Karaoke contest, basketball tournament,  New York Open Mic event over Winter Break, Japanese (or whatever) film fest. Murder mystery night (in our pajamas), “24 hr” Lock-in. AASA Real World, AASA Survivor, Ice skating
AASA Overload Pajama party, movies, pizza, and ice cream. Pillow fight, pillowcases with “AASA” written on it, Capture the Flag with other houses.
