Introductions
Upcoming Event—Chinese New Year, a major event for AASA and the school. Tuesday, February 12th in the Washington Room, Mather Hall. Food and entertainment provided, all are welcome, and the event is free.
*Sign-ups for food, entertainment, public relations (esp. putting up flyers), set-up, and clean-up.
Add/Drop deadline on Monday, January 21st until 4PM in the Washington Room.
Saturday, February 16th, Shikha invites Trinity students to UCONN for an intercollegiate cultural show featuring Trinity students in a fashion show. If you’re interested, please get in contact with Shikha at shikha.gulati@.trincoll.edu ASAP.
F.I.N.D.—Filipino Intercollegiate Network Dialogue. A weekend conference will be held towards the end of March with workshops about Filipino culture, dance, food, etc. TBA.
Keep in mind—Chai House/Open-mike night, an all-campus event sponsored by AASA. In the past, performers have danced, sung, recited poetry, played music, etc. Everyone is encouraged to participate. TBA.
If anyone has ideas for house events please email Shanya at Shanya.Fernando@trincoll.edu. Some ideas include henna body art and origami.
Also coming up for February—Ping Pong Tournament and bowling. Check AASA calendar for dates. Calendars should be distributed very soon. Possibly an AASA bowling league??
