Minutes for AASA Meeting Feb 2nd 2003:
*AASA is on blackboard. This provides members with a space to check on
upcoming events, post announcements and start discussions on the post board.
Check it out! If you want to be added, please email me with your full name.
*Locknetics codes for members who have been to 2/3 of meetings from last
semester will be in the AASA door very soon.
*Applications for Cultural House Coordinator are in the Office of Multicultural
Affairs. Fill one out if you're interested. There is You will be paid a $2000
stipend for the 03/04 school year. For more information, and for details about
the job responsibilities, contact Adam (Adam.Pangilinan@trincoll.edu) or OMA.
*On Feb 12th there will be an alumni panel for students of color @ 7pm in the
career services building (lower level of admissions). Call Andrea Saari (x2084)
to RSVP .
*Chinese New Year will be held on Feb 19th(Wednesday). Please stop by at 5pm to
help setup. Festivities are from 6.30 - 9pm, there will be good food and
performances. It will be in the Washington room, mather hall.
*FIND (Filipino Intercollegiate Networking Dialogue) Conference is being held
March 7th & 8th. AASA will be paying for transportation and registration. For

*ECASU (East Coast Asian Students Union) Conference will be held from Feb 21st-
23rd at Georgetown University. There will be a variety of workshops. For details

*The Annual CHAI House Open Mic is coming up in March. Traditionally it's an
open mic, but this year we are also planning to concentrate on cultural
performances.
*If there are any discussion topics you'd like to have in the future, we are
looking for some good ideas!
*House events are being planned for the semester. If you'd like to see an event
happen besides the ones listed email Adam (adam.pangilinan@trincoll.edu).
