Campaign Goal: Raise $100 Million for Student Scholarships
Investing in more students of promise is Trinity’s most compelling priority. We must expand our scholarship resources so that the most talented students have access to the life-changing Trinity experience.
There is a growing interest in admission to Trinity. Financial aid has more influence on student recruitment than any other controllable factor.
We need to raise at least $41 million more in commitments in the final months of the Cornerstone Campaign. That is a daunting number, but it will be a game-changer for Trinity. When the full $100 million is in the College's hands, it will generate $5 million more in financial aid resources and add 150 more students to our scholarship rolls, approaching the level of 45 percent of our students on aid, putting Trinity into a much more competitive position with our peers.

“Every one of Trinity’s goals depends on our ability to provide financial aid: student quality, academic rigor, distinguished academic programs, diversity, global and local impact, and enhanced reputation all depend on our ability to base more decisions on talent and promise, and fewer on ability to pay.”
“Lack of financial aid imposes itself on so many areas where we need latitude in order to enroll the most interesting community of young scholars who will “distribute” themselves throughout the curriculum.”
