2013-2014 Annual Report of Philanthropy

Dear Members of the Trinity Community,

As the new president of Trinity College, I am honored to present the 2013-2014 Annual Report of Philanthropy, which celebrates the generosity and loyalty of alumni, parents, and friends who made gifts to the College between July 1, 2013, and June 30, 2014.

All of us at Trinity are grateful that you have made the College a philanthropic priority, and we appreciate the far-reaching impact of your gifts. Whether yours has been unrestricted annual giving through the Trinity Fund, endowed or capital support, a contribution toward athletic programs, support for scholarships, a planned gift, or some combination thereof, your generous gifts to Trinity translate directly to the success of all of our students.

I hope that you will take the time to read the names of your fellow donorsnearly 9,000 individuals and more than 400 organizationswho contributed to Trinity this past fiscal year. Many of the people listed in this report have given of their time as well as their treasure, as volunteers, mentors, and resources for our students, faculty, and staff.

Your support demonstrates your confidence in all that a Trinity education makes possible. With the foundation of a broad liberal arts education, our students can thoughtfully consider the past and bring their analytical talents to bear on the challenges of the future in a fast-changing, complex, and diverse world. Thank you for the essential role you play in helping create active, engaged citizens through your support of Trinity College.
