Thank you for your interest in the Trinity College International Robot Contest. The Trinity College Robot Contest(s) started in 1994 as a small local robotics event and has grown to now include over 100 robot teams from all over the world. It is held annually at Trinity College's campus in Hartford, Connecticut USA.
The event has evolved over the years and included several supplemental challenges and contests, including the popular RoboWaiter Contest (2010-2015) which showcased the use of assistive robotics for persons with disabilities. In 2016, the Fire Fighting Contest will be a blend of past popular concepts but will new arenas and rules. The mission of the event remains the same - to be an open, not-for-profit event that require invention of autonomous, socially relevant robots. The contest promote creativity, teamwork, the understanding and application of STEM subjects and the sharing of ideas.
