Welcome to the 2013-14 Trinity College Firefighting and RoboWaiter contests. We've posted the rules for these two international events and invite inventors of all ages and levels of skill to design autonomous robots to compete next April at Trinity.

Changes include the following:

- The fire-fighting Expert Division will not be offered in 2014.

- The Kit category has been dropped and replaced by the Customized category.

- A Junior Division has been added to RoboWaiter

- The formerly optional Cleanup Mode in RoboWaiter Advanced Division is now required.

- A new food object has been added to the RoboWaiter Advanced Division.

Please read the Rules and send your comments and questions to the Rules Editor Ed Nisley (ed.08.nisley@pobox.com) and the Contest Director Dave Ahlgren (david.ahlgren@trincoll.edu). We will respond to each of your emails and share our responses on this site's FAQ.

Good luck!
