Pat
Kennedy- Administrative Assistant, Dept. of Theater and Dance/Dept.
of Music I first worked at Trinity in 1971, for the Urban Environmental Studies
Program and the Office of Community Affairs. After taking time off to raise
my children, I returned to Trinity in 1983 working for Southside Institutions
Neighborhood Alliance. I have been with the performing arts departments since
1990. In my spare time I enjoy helping my husband with his graphic design business
and backpacking with my family in the New Hampshire White Mountains. I will
receive my BA in English from Trinity in 2003.
Rita
Sclavunos- Costume Shop Manager I am a proud graduate of the
State University of New York at Purchase, Professional Design/Technical Program.
This is my fourth year as Costume Shop Manager at Austin Arts Center at Trinity
College. I provide and design costumes for the Theater and Dance department
and the Music department productions throughout the year. Such productions include
Little Shop of Horrors, Shadow Play, Assassins, Colette Collage, Collide With
The City, and The Party. As a designer I have worked for various productions
in New York City, Washington State, Virginia, Maine, and New Jersey. In addition
to Trinity, I have managed costume shops in Virginia and New Jersey. I have
been Patternmaker at Hartford Stage Company, Connecticut Repertory Theater,
Seattle Repertory Theater and Intiman Theater. I have also worked as First Hand
at Hartford Stage Company, Yale Repertory Theater, Parsons-Meares (NYC), and
Intiman Theater (Seattle).
Elisa
Griego- Performing Arts Technical Director I received two BA's
from Brown University in Mathematics and Biology. In 1988 I was the recipient
of the Henry Parker Manning Award for Mathematics. I came to Connecticut from
Rhode Island in 1993 to work at the Long Wharf Theater in New Haven. I received
my MFA from the Yale School of Drama and Technical Design and Production. While
there, I was the Teaching Assistant for the YSD Draft/Auto CAD class, I published in
Technical Brief, I was the Technical Director for the International Festival
of Arts and Ideas in New Haven, and I also studied at the Yale Divinity School.
In 1998 I became the Performing Arts Technical Director at Trinity. I also direct the Armenian Church of Holy
Ascension Choir in Trumbull, CT. My husband Paul Marottolo and I had our first child in December 1999.
James
Latzel-Operations and Events Manager, Austin Arts Center I
am in my third year as Events and Operations Manager for the Austin Arts Center
at Trinity. As well as producing lighting designs, I am also the lighting supervisor
for the Ted Shawn Theatre at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival. I have held such
positions as Technical Director for the Duplex Cabaret in NYC, Production Stage
Manager for Twyla Tharp Dance Company and Production Manager/Lighting Supervisor
for Stephen Petronio Dance Company. Most recently at the AAC I have designed
the production for Arthur Feinsod's (theater/dance faculty) production of Samuel
Beckett's Krapp's Last Tape and Rockaby ; as well as lighting design for Megan
Shea's (99' theater/dance major) production of Hamletmachine.
Blu-
Lighting Designer and Guest Lecturer- I design lights for dance and theater
in many places and help save bats whenever I can.
