The Studio 47 series invites choreographers, performance artists,
and musicians in the region to share their work in an informal setting.
Considered a living textbook for many of our courses, the monthly Studio
47 performances give audiences an opportunity to ask the artists questions
about their process and vision. Curated by Prof. Judy Dworin, the series
gives artists a chance to share both finished work and work in progress
in an environment that encourages dialogue and interaction.
The Studio
19 series features monthly performances of plays and performance
work written, directed, and performed by students. It is an opportunity
to showcase the creativity of student majors and non-majors alike. The
idea grew out of a festival of student work curated by Prof. Arthur
Feinsod in 1998.
