Thanks for Visiting The Dean of Students Office Home Page!

What is the mission of the Dean of Students Office?

The Dean of Students Office at Trinity College supports students in their efforts to develop intellectually, culturally, and socially as civically responsible, critically thinking, high achieving members of a residential educational community as they prepare for life-long learning in a shifting, global environment.

How Can the Dean of Students Office Help You?

Dean of Students Mary Thomas, Assistant Dean Ann Reuman, and Assistant Dean Christopher Card advise students on academic matters, provide general counseling about personal matters not requiring the services of a clinician, assist students with their transitions to college, and handle student discipline.

The Dean of Students Office also coordinates academic accommodations for students with disabilities, facilitates sexual assault counseling, works closely with students on academic probation, advises the Inter-Greek Council, supports programs that promote wellness, safety, and diversity, assists student leadership training, and coordinates several academic support programs, including tutoring and Academic Excellence Workshops (for students who wish to develop more effective learning strategies).  Students, families, faculty, and staff should feel free to contact the Dean of Students in confidence whenever problems of any nature arise.  We are here to help students foster a safe, learning environment where they can pursue academic excellence, enhance leadership skills, and develop holistically.
