HUMANITIES
FACULTY
FORUM

MOUNT HOLYOKE COLLEGE
SOUTH HADLEY, MA
MAY 28, 2008

Faculty from the 37 member liberal arts colleges and universities of CHAS are invited to participate in a faculty-led conference addressing pedagogy in the humanities, with a focus on promoting high achievement among historically underrepresented students.

While humanities and arts faculty are especially invited, faculty from all disciplines are invited to join in the conversations.

The agenda will include discussions of pedagogy in the humanities, stereotype threat and wise mentoring, writing in the humanities, and peer-led learning.

The emphasis will be on sharing best practices, and what works and doesn't work for faculty in the classroom.
