The opportunity to study abroad and in other locations in the United States enriches the department's already diverse curriculum. One Sociology major studied and worked in Appalachia. Another participated in a justice seminar in Washington, DC. In recent years, Sociology majors have ventured to many other countries, including Ireland, Australia, Israel, Spain, Wales, Russia and to Trinity's campus in Rome, Italy.
