(Trinity students who have taken Micro-economic Theory may receive 300-level credit for this course,
with additional readings and a paper)
Academic Excursion
The program features a long weekend academic excursion to Naples, Pompeii (or Herculaneum), and Capri. Students will visit archaeological sites, the Naples Archaeological Museum, the Natural Arch, and Villa Jovis at Capri’s summit.Admissions

Comprehensive Fee: $5,950
The fee includes:
- Tuition (two courses)
- Room (double)
- Lunch (Monday—Thursday)
- The academic excursion to Naples, Pompeii, and Capri
- Required Italian health insurance
Any college or university student in good standing is eligible. Applicants must submit an official transcript of their undergraduate record at time of application. Admissions are on a rolling basis. The number of places is approximately 45. Application deadline: March 15, 2009.
A limited amount of financial aid is available for Trinity College students.
A $50 processing fee is required with the application. A $500 nonrefundable deposit is required upon acceptance of admission to the program. The balance of the comprehensive fee is due by May 1, 2009.
Each participant is required to have a passport and a student visa. Instructions for securing them will be provided after acceptance of admission to the program. Orientation materials are provided to participants prior to departure.
