Barbara Huddleston

Barbara Huddleston is Senior Lecturer in Political Science at the Rome Campus. She has spent much of her career with the United Nations, first as Research Fellow with the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and later with the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO), where she was chief of the Food Security Service from 1984 to 2002. She earned her B.A. at Wooster College, her M.A. at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, International Affairs, and African Studies, and her M. Phil. at George Washington University. She is the author or editor of several books and articles on food policy and food security.
