Fall and Spring Semesters
Application procedures and forms:Trinity students must send the following items to our Hartford office:
- The completed Application Form for admission.
- A signed copy of the Application Agreement Form.
- College transcripts. Trinity students may submit an unofficial transcript.

Successful applicants will normally have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.

Admissions decisions will be made on a rolling basis according to the
dates listed below. Because spaces are usually filled well before
the published deadlines, applicants should apply early.
Fall program -- applications will be reviewed beginning January 1 with a
final deadline of March 1
Spring program-- applications will be reviewed beginning August 1
with a final deadline of October 1.
Fees and financial aid:
The comprehensive fee per semester in Fall 2007 and Spring 2008 is
$22.975.
The comprehensive fee covers tuition, room, meals
(fall 2007-15 per week—breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday, dinner Sunday through Thursday),
required Italian health insurance, a Rome bus and metro pass,
insurance for internships, museum fees, and the academic excursions.
The fee does not cover travel to and from the program, books, studio-arts course supplies,
or personal expenses.
Participants make their own travel arrangements.
The Rome Campus is pleased to meet the full demonstrated need for
financial aid for Trinity students (as determined by the institutional
formula for expected family contribution).
Nuts and bolts:
Payment schedule: A nonrefundable $500 deposit toward the comprehensive fee is
due upon acceptance of admission. The balance is due in early August (for Fall
students) and mid-December (for Spring students).
Students must communicate acceptance within three weeks of admission to the
program. Upon acceptance, each student must pay the deposit and return the
signed legal release agreement.
Each participant is required to have (a) a passport that is valid at least six months
beyond the end date of the program and (b) a student visa.
The passport is required for the visa application.
Therefore any participant without a suitably valid passport must obtain one immediately
upon acceptance of admission to the program.
Instructions for obtaining or renewing a passport may be found at
the state department web site..
Instructions for obtaining a visa will be provided after acceptance of admission to the program.
Orientation materials are provided to participants prior to departure.
Students must enroll full-time: a minimum of four course credits, a maximum of
5.5 course credits. Every student must enroll in a course in Italian language or literature in
Italian.
Exceptions to established charges cannot be granted.
