Hartford, Conn.- Junior co-captain Michael Doros (East Hartford, Conn.) won both his matches at 184 pounds to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a sweep of the visiting Division II American International College Yellowjackets and the Wesleyan University Cardinals in wrestling action this evening at Ferris Athletic Center. Trinity, ranked No. 1 in New England and No. 24 in the Nation, extends its College record win total to 22 against just two losses with its 14th and 15th consecutive victories.

Doros came out on top in an overtime match against his Wesleyan opponent, 4-2, and dominated his American International opponent in a tech-fall, 18-3. Fellow junior co-captain Wesley Connell (Simsbury, Conn.) helped to seal the victory with a 5-1 win against Wesleyan, putting the score up to, 21-6, and by pinning his American International opponent at 3:50. Senior Eric Egolf (Glastonbury, Conn.) won both of his last home matches dominating his Wesleyan rival, 7-1, and shutting out his American International adversary, 5-0. Wesleyan's grappler at 174 pounds was no match for Bantams senior Lucas McKittrick (Lincolnville, Maine), who defeated the Cardinal, 7-2, sealing the team's victory in his final home appearance.

Trinity also swept both heavyweight matches, as freshman Michael Blair (Plymouth, N.H.) posted a win against Wesleyan, 11-5, and classmate Bryan Dubiel (Avon, Conn.) registered his success with a 9-7 triumph. Sophomore 197-pounder Matt Webster (Foxboro, Mass.) also won with a pin only :28 into the match against American International.
