This award is given each year by the Trinity College Alumni Association to a member of the alumni body
who has, preferably recently, distinguished him/herself in either his/her line of endeavor or beyond the call
of normal pursuits. As an award given by the Alumni Association to one of its own members, it is considered to
be of a singular purpose, and intended to be clearly distinct from the Eigenbrodt Trophy and the
Alumni Medal for Excellence.
