Background: |
|
Kreczko comes to The Hartford following a
distinguished 25-year career in federal government, most recently
in the U.S. Department of State as acting assistant secretary for
population, refugees and migration. Among his other duties in that
role at the State Department, he oversaw the U.S. humanitarian
response to recent world crisis areas, including relief efforts in
Afghanistan, the Balkans, West Africa and East Timor, among
others. Kreczko is a magna
cum laude graduate of Boston College and a magna cum laude
graduate of the University of Michigan Law School.
